Hi, I'm Hannah Deer!
I am SO happy that you’re here to check out what I’m all about, what fuels my passion, and why I want to create beautiful images for you and your family. I completely understand that this is an investment and I want you to be confident in choosing me to document you and your family!
I am a wife of nearly 10 years and mama to two fun little girls, a wild toddler boy, and the sweetest baby boy you’ve ever met. I love Jesus and I love people. For fun, I like to find local shops, eat really yummy food with the people I love, soak up the sunshine any chance I get, and explore new places. My family has been my inspiration and what drives my passion for documenting other people’s families. After experiencing all kinds of birth; including a c-cestion, hospital birth, and homebirths, I’m in love with all things birth and babies. I understand how undeniably life-changing parenthood is and how quickly time passes. I’m aware of how your relationship to them changes from one day to the next. I understand how those sweet little details begin to quickly fade in your memory.
Movement is what I’m drawn to: whether that means documenting your baby’s first breath, running through a field together, skipping rocks in the creek, or swaying together to your favorite song, I want to capture it. I crave intentionality and genuine connection over perfection. I’m not afraid of the tantrums or the fidgety toddlers- in fact, I love it. That’s your life right now and I want to preserve it for you. I’m laid back and love love LOVE to laugh. I want you to feel those same things during your time with me. I don’t want your session to be stiff, I want it to be a time where you all can enjoy time with one another. My desire is that your experience with me is as wonderful as your photos. I believe just about anyone can take a standard photo of everyone smiling at the camera and I want to provide much, much more than that for your family.
